What macOS version do I need?
Snap to AI requires macOS 13 Ventura or later. It runs natively on both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.
Which AI tools does it work with?
Snap to AI works with any AI that accepts image uploads in the browser or desktop app, including Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and more. If you can paste an image into it, Snap to AI can send it there.
How do I set up the global shortcut?
The default shortcut is ⌘⇧2. To change it, click the Snap to AI icon in your menu bar and select "Change Hotkey". Press any key combination with at least one modifier (⌘, ⌃, ⌥, or ⇧).
How do I choose which AI app to use?
Click the menu bar icon and select "Change AI App". You can pick from Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, or click the "+" button to choose any other app on your Mac.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. You get 15 free captures to try Snap to AI before purchasing. After that, a one-time $9 purchase unlocks unlimited captures forever.
How do I activate my license?
After purchasing, you'll receive a license key. Click "Enter License Key" in the menu bar dropdown, paste your key, and click Activate. You can also enter it when the paywall appears after your free trial.
